The more you tell me, the more specific I can be. Every field below the basics is optional.
Food reactions are one of the hardest things to keep track of, and also one of the most useful for me to know. Add what you know, no wrong answers.
I don't need the dose or brand, just the name. I'll flag anything worth looking into, but I won't tell you what to do. That's between you and a practitioner who knows you.
Comma-separated. One name per item. This is the part where I sound like a doctor's office, and I know that's not fun. Check what applies. Skip what doesn't. You can come back.
Pregnancy, nursing, perimenopause, these shift so much of what I'd say. Tell me as much as feels right.
Whatever else you want me to always remember. Saved on your device, and shared with me in our chats so I can use it.
When you're ready to go deeper, here's what's available.
I only take a small number of 1:1 clients at a time so I can actually show up for you. Tell me a little about where you are, no wrong answers.
I'm so glad you reached out. I'll personally review everything you shared and get back to you within 48 hours. In the meantime, keep exploring the app, that's what it's here for.

Honest answers about where your information goes.
No sign-up, no password. Your email helps Amanda save your session and send root-cause wellness tips.
Your family profiles and preferences stay in your browser, not on our servers. The profile you're chatting about is sent with your message to the AI so Amanda can tailor her answer.
Your messages are sent to a secure AI service to generate Amanda's responses. Please don't include full names, addresses, or anything you wouldn't share with a health professional.
Location services are never requested or used.
No ad pixels, no third-party scripts, nothing sold or shared. We keep simple anonymous tallies on our own server (like how many people opened a plan page) so we can improve the app. No names, no emails, no idea who you are.
I didn't come to this work from a textbook. I came to it because the conventional system failed the people I love most. I watched it happen, I lived it, and I spent years learning what was being missed. That journey changed everything about how I understand health, and it's the reason this tool exists.
I'm a barefoot mama. I've navigated chronic health challenges in my own children, been dismissed by doctors who said everything was "normal," and asked questions that made practitioners uncomfortable. Eventually I stopped waiting for answers and went looking for them myself. I trained through Dr. Stephen Cabral's Integrative Health Practitioner program, and now I help families do what I wish someone had helped me do sooner.
The information families need most, like minerals, gut health, toxic load, and what's really in their food, shouldn't require a $300 consultation. We built this app. Trained on the framework, my voice, and the practitioners I trust.

Hi, I'm so glad you're here. Before we talk, I want to tell you the truth about what this space is — and isn't — because informed consent matters to me.
Ask Amanda is an educational tool, not medical care. I'm Amanda, an Integrative Health Practitioner (IHP) and M.Ed with years of integrative study. I'm not a licensed medical doctor or other state-licensed healthcare provider, and the AI you're about to chat with is a large language model following prompts I helped write. Everything we discuss is for your education and research, not diagnosis, treatment, or a prescription.
I won't tell you what to do about vaccines, cancer, medications, or any serious health decision. I'll share what research, practitioners, and traditions have said, so you can bring it to the licensed providers you trust and decide for yourself and your family. That is your right, and I honor it.

By using Ask Amanda (the "App," "Service," "we," "us," or "our"), operated by Barefoot Health LLC, an Idaho limited liability company, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and our Health & Wellness Disclaimer, which are incorporated by reference. Submitting your email through any email-gate, paywall, intake, affiliate, or signup field in the App is an electronic signature and affirmative acceptance of these Terms under the federal E-SIGN Act and applicable state law. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Ask Amanda is an educational wellness software tool that provides general information rooted in integrative and functional-health principles. It is not a medical service, telehealth platform, clinical decision tool, or diagnostic device. Use of the App does not create a doctor-patient, practitioner-patient, therapist-client, or fiduciary relationship between you and Barefoot Health LLC, Amanda Marie Stuart (professionally known as Amanda Kulp), or any contributor to the App. The App does not diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease. The App's educational content is protected expression under the First Amendment of the United States Constitution. The right to share and receive truthful, non-misleading information on health topics has been recognized by the U.S. Supreme Court in, e.g., Sorrell v. IMS Health Inc., 564 U.S. 552 (2011), and Thompson v. Western States Medical Center, 535 U.S. 357 (2002). To the extent any statements in the App are deemed commercial speech, we intend them to be truthful and non-misleading, and subject to the Central Hudson framework. All content is intended for educational, informational, and research purposes only.
You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction. The App is offered from the United States and is not directed to, and you may not use it from, any jurisdiction where the content is unlawful or restricted. You are responsible for complying with your local laws. If you are under 18, do not use the App; a parent or guardian may use the App and reference children's wellness topics, but the App is not intended to be used directly by minors.
The App does not require a user account. Your conversations, profiles, favorites, and preferences are stored in your browser's local storage on your device; we do not keep them on our servers. (When you chat, the profile you have active and any My Context you have saved are sent with your message to our AI provider to generate a response, as the Privacy Policy explains.) Email addresses that you voluntarily submit are used solely for subscription verification, transactional communication, and the marketing communications you consent to. See the Privacy Policy for full detail.
Barefoot Health LLC owns all right, title, and interest in and to the App, including the source code, design, user interface, system prompts, curated educational content, Amanda Kulp's voice and persona as used in the product, the "Ask Amanda" name, the "Barefoot Health" name, related marks and logos, and all underlying intellectual property (collectively, the "IP"). We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and use the App for your own personal, non-commercial educational purposes. This license continues for the duration of your active use of the App, subject to Section 14. You may not: (a) copy, reproduce, modify, create derivative works from, distribute, publicly display, publicly perform, or commercially exploit the App or its content; (b) use automated tools, bots, scrapers, crawlers, or AI agents to extract, harvest, or mirror the App's content, including any portion of the system prompts made visible in client-side code; (c) use automated tools, bots, or AI agents to interact with the App outside of the human-facing interface; (d) remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices; or (e) use the App, its outputs, or any portion of its content to train any artificial intelligence or machine-learning model. You acknowledge that some of the App's implementation details are visible in client-side code; your license does not include permission to redistribute, republish, or commercialize those details.
Paid plans. The App offers the following paid subscription plans, each of which provides the features described in the App at the time of purchase:
Auto-renewal (required California ARL and federal ROSCA disclosure). By completing checkout, you enroll in a subscription that will automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual, as selected at checkout) at the then-current rate until you cancel. You authorize Barefoot Health LLC and our payment processor (Kajabi) to charge your chosen payment method on each renewal date without further action from you. The auto-renewal terms were disclosed to you in visual proximity to the "Complete Purchase" button at checkout, where you separately acknowledged them. Within 24 hours of your purchase, you will receive a written confirmation by email containing the auto-renewal terms, the amount and frequency of the recurring charge, and cancellation instructions, as required by California Business & Professions Code § 17602(b).
How to cancel. You may cancel at any time by: (a) clicking "Cancel My Subscription" inside the App at Settings → Subscription; (b) logging into your Kajabi account portal at kajabi.com, going to Products, and clicking Cancel; or (c) emailing hello@barefoot.health with the subject line "Cancel Subscription." We honor cancellations within the same business day on which a valid request is received. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the then-current billing period, and you retain access through that period. No partial refunds are issued for the unused portion of a billing period except as described below.
Refund policy.
This refund policy is our entire refund commitment except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Free trials and free tier. We offer a permanent free tier with limited features (5 messages per day, 3 Label Lens scans per month, 3 modes). The free tier does not auto-convert to a paid subscription; you must affirmatively purchase a paid plan. If we introduce a time-limited paid-plan free trial in the future, the negative-option terms (what happens at trial end) will be disclosed in clear and conspicuous form at signup and comply with federal ROSCA (15 U.S.C. § 8403) and Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code § 17602. We may modify the free tier feature set at any time with reasonable notice.
Price changes. We may change subscription pricing by providing at least 30 days' advance notice by email or in-app notification. Price changes do not affect the current billing period. For any price increase on an existing subscription, we will require your affirmative re-acceptance at the next billing renewal; if you do not re-accept, your subscription will cancel at the end of the then-current period and you will not be charged the new price.
Founding-member pricing. Where we market founding-member or launch-window pricing, we will honor the founding-member rate for the duration described in the marketing. If a subscriber's founding-member rate is later offered to new subscribers at a lower rate, the subscriber will be offered the lower rate at their next renewal.
You agree not to: (a) use the App for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose; (b) impersonate another person; (c) interfere with, disrupt, probe, or attempt to circumvent the App's security, rate limits, or activation codes; (d) scrape, harvest, or mass-download content via automated means; (e) use automated tools to extract, mirror, or republish the App's content; (f) use the App to harass, threaten, or harm others; (g) upload or transmit content that violates another person's rights, including intellectual-property, privacy, or publicity rights; (h) use the App to hold yourself out as a licensed healthcare provider or to practice any state-licensed healthcare profession without the required license; (i) share, resell, or sublicense your access; (j) use the App to train AI models; (k) attempt to discover or exploit vulnerabilities in the App or our infrastructure; or (l) post, publish, or circulate a review, endorsement, or public statement about the App in exchange for compensation, discount, free access, or any other consideration without clear and conspicuous disclosure of that consideration. Barefoot Health LLC does not offer incentives, discounts, or freebies in exchange for reviews, endorsements, or public statements about the App.
THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITH ALL FAULTS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BAREFOOT HEALTH LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, TITLE, QUIET ENJOYMENT, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, CURRENCY, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, WE MAKE NO WARRANTY THAT: (a) THE EDUCATIONAL INFORMATION PROVIDED IS COMPLETE, CURRENT, ACCURATE, OR APPROPRIATE FOR YOUR INDIVIDUAL CIRCUMSTANCES; (b) THE APP WILL BE AVAILABLE ON ANY SCHEDULE OR UPTIME; (c) ANY HEALTH, WELLNESS, LIFESTYLE, NUTRITIONAL, OR OTHER OUTCOME WILL RESULT FROM USE OF THE APP; OR (d) THE APP IS FREE FROM BUGS, ERRORS, OR SECURITY VULNERABILITIES. You rely on the App's content at your own risk. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties; in those jurisdictions, the above exclusions apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL BAREFOOT HEALTH LLC, AMANDA MARIE STUART (PROFESSIONALLY KNOWN AS AMANDA KULP), DAVID GLENN KULP, JR., OUR AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, CONTRACTORS, LICENSORS, OR SUCCESSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, LOSS OF USE, PERSONAL INJURY, HEALTH OUTCOMES, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE APP OR THESE TERMS, REGARDLESS OF THE LEGAL THEORY (CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, STATUTE, OR OTHERWISE) AND EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (a) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO BAREFOOT HEALTH LLC FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM; OR (b) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100.00).
WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY HEALTH, MEDICAL, NUTRITIONAL, LIFESTYLE, OR FAMILY-RELATED DECISION YOU MAKE, OR DECLINE TO MAKE, BASED IN WHOLE OR IN PART ON INFORMATION FROM THE APP. YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR CONSULTING A QUALIFIED, LICENSED HEALTHCARE PROVIDER FOR ANY DECISION AFFECTING YOUR HEALTH.
The limitations in this Section 9 are fundamental elements of the bargain between you and Barefoot Health LLC. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages; in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Barefoot Health LLC, Amanda Marie Stuart (professionally known as Amanda Kulp), David Glenn Kulp, Jr., and our affiliates, officers, members, employees, agents, and contractors from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use or misuse of the App; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual-property, privacy, or publicity rights; (d) any health, medical, supplement, dietary, or lifestyle decision you make or action you take based on information from the App; (e) any content you submit through intake, email, or other forms; or (f) your violation of any applicable law. Your aggregate indemnification obligation shall not exceed twice the total amount you have paid to Barefoot Health LLC in the 12 months preceding the claim, except for claims arising from (i) your willful misconduct, (ii) your gross negligence, or (iii) your infringement of Barefoot Health LLC's intellectual-property rights, each of which shall be uncapped. We reserve the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate with our defense.
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING YOUR RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION.
11.1 Agreement to arbitrate. You and Barefoot Health LLC agree that any and all disputes, claims, or controversies arising out of or relating to these Terms, the App, your use of the App, any purchase, or the relationship between us (each, a "Dispute") shall be resolved exclusively by final and binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its Consumer Arbitration Rules then in effect. The Federal Arbitration Act (9 U.S.C. § 1 et seq.) governs the interpretation and enforcement of this Section.
11.2 Individual basis only; class-action waiver. YOU AND BAREFOOT HEALTH LLC AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED, MASS, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. The arbitrator may not consolidate claims or preside over any class, collective, or representative proceeding. If this class-action waiver is found unenforceable as to any claim, that claim shall proceed in court; the remainder of this Section shall remain in full force.
11.3 Jury-trial waiver. YOU AND BAREFOOT HEALTH LLC EXPRESSLY WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A TRIAL BY JURY. This jury-trial waiver applies and survives independently of the arbitration agreement; if the arbitration agreement is held unenforceable or you opt out of arbitration under Section 11.5, this jury-trial waiver still applies to any Dispute brought in court. If a court in your jurisdiction does not enforce pre-dispute jury-trial waivers in consumer contracts (for example, California, see Grafton Partners v. Superior Court, 36 Cal. 4th 944 (2005)), this waiver is unenforceable as to you, but every other provision of these Terms remains in full force.
11.4 Venue and seat. The seat of arbitration shall be Idaho. The arbitration shall be conducted by a single neutral arbitrator. Any in-person hearing shall take place in accordance with AAA Consumer Arbitration Rule C-2 (proximity to the consumer's residence), or at a location mutually agreed by the parties, or by videoconference. If the amount in controversy does not exceed $25,000, the arbitration shall be conducted by documents only or by telephone/video unless you affirmatively request an in-person hearing.
11.5 30-day opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by any of the following methods, within thirty (30) days of your first acceptance of these Terms: (a) by email to hello@barefoot.health with the subject line "Arbitration Opt-Out"; (b) by U.S. mail, return receipt requested, to Barefoot Health LLC, PO Box 137, Coeur d'Alene, ID 83816, with the same subject line; or (c) from within the App under Settings → Legal → Opt Out of Arbitration. Your notice must include your full legal name, the email address used with the App, and an unambiguous statement that you opt out of arbitration. If you timely opt out, the arbitration agreement and class-action waiver do not apply to you; the jury-trial waiver and all other provisions of these Terms remain in effect. Your opt-out applies to the current arbitration agreement and to any future version of these Terms that contains a materially similar arbitration agreement, unless you later affirmatively accept a new arbitration agreement. Opting out does not affect the validity of any prior arbitration agreement that you later accept.
11.6 Small-claims carve-out. Either party may bring an individual action in small-claims court for any Dispute within that court's jurisdiction, provided the amount in controversy does not exceed $10,000 (or the maximum amount permitted by that court, whichever is greater).
11.7 Injunctive relief carve-out. Either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual-property rights or confidential information, without first proceeding to arbitration.
11.8 Costs. The AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules governing fees apply. If the arbitrator finds your claim not frivolous, Barefoot Health LLC will pay AAA filing, administrative, and arbitrator fees to the extent required by those rules.
11.9 Confidentiality. Except as required by law or to enforce an award, the existence and outcome of any arbitration shall remain confidential.
11.10 Delegation of enforceability. The arbitrator, and not any federal, state, or local court or agency, shall have exclusive authority to resolve any dispute relating to the interpretation, applicability, enforceability, or formation of this arbitration agreement, including any claim that all or any part of this agreement is void or voidable. Henry Schein, Inc. v. Archer & White Sales, Inc., 139 S. Ct. 524 (2019).
11.11 PAGA carve-out. To the extent any dispute arises under California's Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA), Cal. Lab. Code § 2698 et seq., you and Barefoot Health LLC agree that the individual PAGA claim, if any, is subject to this arbitration agreement, and any non-individual PAGA claim is not subject to this arbitration agreement and may proceed in court. Adolph v. Uber Technologies, Inc., 14 Cal. 5th 1104 (2023).
11.12 Mass-arbitration supplementary rules. If 25 or more substantially similar demands for arbitration are filed by a single law firm or coordinated group of law firms against Barefoot Health LLC in a 90-day period, the parties agree to proceed under AAA's Mass Arbitration Supplementary Rules then in effect, including the consolidated case-management process. Each party will pay its share of AAA fees as allocated under those rules.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The Federal Arbitration Act governs Section 11. For any matter not subject to arbitration (and not subject to the small-claims carve-out or injunctive-relief carve-out), exclusive jurisdiction and venue lie in the state and federal courts located in Kootenai County, Idaho, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
Any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App must be filed within one (1) year after the claim accrued, or it is permanently barred. This provision shortens, to the extent permitted by law, any longer statute of limitations that would otherwise apply.
You may stop using the App and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for (a) your material violation of these Terms, (b) your unlawful use of the App, (c) a threat to the security or integrity of the App, or (d) non-payment. For a suspension or termination not based on clauses (a)–(d), we will provide a prorated refund of any prepaid unused period. Sections 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16, 17, 18, and 19 survive termination.
We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make a material change, we will provide at least 14 days' notice by email (if you have provided an email) and by in-app notification. A material change to the auto-renewal or refund terms, or to Section 11 (arbitration), requires affirmative re-acceptance before the change binds you. Continued use of the App after the effective date of a non-material change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the App.
Notices to you may be provided by in-app banner, modal, push notification, or email sent to the address you have provided. Notices to Barefoot Health LLC must be sent by email to hello@barefoot.health and by U.S. mail, return receipt requested, to Barefoot Health LLC, PO Box 137, Coeur d'Alene, ID 83816.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any of your rights or obligations without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that or any other provision. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Health & Wellness Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and Barefoot Health LLC regarding the App and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements.

Your privacy matters to us. We designed Ask Amanda to minimize the personal data we collect and to keep most of your interaction data on your device, except for the limited categories of data listed below. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why, where it lives, and what rights you have. It is written in plain English and governs the App at ask.barefoot.health and any related domains operated by Barefoot Health LLC ("we," "us," "our"). By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into the Terms of Service.
Information you provide directly.
Information we automatically collect.
Your conversations are stored in your browser's IndexedDB database (named bf_db) on your device. The following additional information is stored in your browser's local storage, and we do not keep any of it on our servers: family profiles (including any age, gender, or name fields you enter for children), favorites, folders, saved scans, onboarding state, and theme preference. Two clarifications so this is not misleading: (1) the family profile you have active and your My Context entries are included in the prompt sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) each time you chat, so Amanda can tailor her answer (they live on your device, but they are transmitted with your messages); and (2) the individual messages and images you send are transmitted to Anthropic in real time to generate responses. Everything else listed here (favorites, folders, saved scans, onboarding state, theme preference) stays on your device and is not transmitted unless you choose to export it. Clearing your browser data or uninstalling the App will permanently delete this information; we cannot recover it. Specific device-local keys used: bf_profs, bf_rpts, bf_kb, bf_key, bf_dark, bf_ob, bf_favs, bf_folders, bf_scans, bf_email, bf_tier, bf_hiw, bf_ctx, BF_ANALYTICS_KEY, bf_consent, bf_trial, bf_freebies (daily free-message count), bf_intake (a local copy of any 1:1 intake form you submit), bf_ratings (thumbs ratings you give responses), bf_trial_expiry_seen, bf_swipetut2, bf_beta_dismiss, bf_fo_first_scan, bf_ll_discover (one-time UI hints), bf_homeo_cases (saved Homeopathy cases), bf_herb_cases (saved Herbalism cases), and, if you turn the optional memory feature on, bf_mem, bf_mem_mode, bf_mem_consent, and bf_mem_meta (Amanda's Memory, described below). Some of these keys (bf_email, bf_tier, bf_trial, BF_ANALYTICS_KEY) hold personal data for local convenience (so the App remembers you between visits); they are not transmitted to us except when the App is actively performing an action on your behalf (e.g., verifying your tier).
Amanda's Memory (optional, off by default). If you turn this feature on, the App keeps short notes from your conversations (for example, "working on postpartum thyroid recovery") in your browser's local storage on this device, under the bf_mem keys listed above. We never store these notes on our servers. Two things happen over the network so this feature can work, and we want them stated plainly: (1) to identify what is worth remembering, recent conversation text is sent to our AI processor (Anthropic) through our proxy, the same path that already carries your messages when you chat; and (2) when memory is on, your saved notes are included in the prompt sent with each message so Amanda can use them, exactly like My Context. Notes about health conditions, medications, allergies, pregnancy, or any child profile are saved only after you explicitly confirm them. You can view, edit, pin, export, or delete every note (or turn the feature off) at any time in the App under "Amanda's Memory," and "Clear my data" deletes all of it, including the conversation archive in IndexedDB. Memory does not sync across devices.
We use the following vendors as service providers. Each operates under its own privacy policy, linked below.
Where EU/UK personal data is transferred to U.S.-based processors (Anthropic, Cloudflare, Netlify, Kajabi, MailChannels), we rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement as incorporated into each processor's commercial terms.
Administrative exports. Authorized Barefoot Health personnel may export the subscriber email list from Cloudflare KV for backup, migration, or audit purposes only, under a confidentiality obligation. The export is accessible via an internal admin endpoint protected by a separate API key.
You have the right to: (a) know what personal information we have collected, used, disclosed, and the categories of sources and recipients; (b) delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions; (c) correct inaccurate personal information; (d) opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information; and (e) limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. The commercial-information category we collect (subscription tier from Kajabi) is used solely to deliver the service you paid for. You may exercise these rights by emailing hello@barefoot.health with the subject line "CCPA Request." We will verify your request by matching the email address on file and will respond within 45 days. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to: access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, receive a portable copy of, and object to processing of your personal data. The lawful basis for our processing is your consent (for email communications, intake submissions, and My Context contents) and our legitimate interests (for security, fraud prevention, basic service operation, and evidence of consent). You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing hello@barefoot.health; withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal. We do not currently process personal data at a scale that, in our assessment, requires the appointment of a Data Protection Officer under GDPR Article 37. If this assessment changes, we will update this policy and appoint one. EU/UK users may lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority.
The App is intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Parents and guardians may use the App and may create family profiles that describe their own children — including age, gender, and first name. Family profiles created for children remain on the parent's device in local storage. We do not receive, store, or transmit those profiles to our servers. If a parent includes child-related information in a message to Amanda, that message is transmitted to Anthropic as described in Section 5. If you believe a child under 13 has directly used the App, please email hello@barefoot.health and we will delete any account-level information within 10 business days.
By submitting your email address to any signup, paywall, or intake field, you consent to receive transactional and marketing email from Barefoot Health LLC and Amanda Marie Stuart (professionally known as Amanda Kulp). Every marketing email will include our physical postal address and a working unsubscribe mechanism in the footer, as required by the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003 (15 U.S.C. § 7701 et seq.). Unsubscribing stops marketing email; transactional email relating to an active subscription may continue as needed to service your account (for example, renewal notices and the auto-renewal confirmation required by Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code § 17602(b)).
Cloudflare KV and Kajabi each provide encryption at rest and in transit. Messages to Anthropic are transmitted over HTTPS. We follow reasonable security practices appropriate to our scale, but no system can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for safeguarding the device you use with the App. If we discover a security incident that materially affects your personal information, we will notify affected users by email within the period required by applicable law.
We are based in the United States and our processors primarily store data in the United States. If you access the App from outside the United States, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States for processing. See Section 5 for SCC / IDTA coverage for EU/UK transfers.
From time to time, we issue activation codes that unlock a specific subscription tier without email-based verification (for example, for Amanda's private clients). When you enter an activation code, the code is transmitted to our Worker for validation; no additional personal information is collected as a result of code entry. We may log the activation event (code, timestamp, user-agent) for anti-abuse purposes. If you later provide your email, we will link the activation to your email.
To delete your email, intake record, consent record, or other information we hold, email hello@barefoot.health from the address on file with the subject "Delete My Data." We will confirm receipt within 5 business days and complete deletion within 30 days. We may retain consent-record data as evidence of consent; if so, we will confine retention to that evidentiary purpose. To delete device-local data (chat history, profiles, My Context), clear your browser's site data for ask.barefoot.health.
We may update this policy as the App evolves. Material changes will be announced by email (to addresses on file) and by in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.

Ask Amanda is educational. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. This app does not create a doctor-patient, practitioner-patient, or therapeutic relationship between you and Amanda Marie Stuart (professionally known as Amanda Kulp), Barefoot Health LLC, or any contributor. Everything in the App — Amanda's responses, mode content, scans, lab discussions, books, and practitioners referenced — is for general education and information only. It is First-Amendment-protected expression. It is not a substitute for the judgment of a qualified, licensed healthcare provider who knows you and your history.
Amanda Kulp is an Integrative Health Practitioner (IHP), certified through Dr. Stephen Cabral's Integrative Health Practitioner program, and holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.). IHP is a private certification awarded by a non-governmental training program; it is not a state-issued license. Amanda Kulp does not hold a state-issued license in medicine, nursing, psychology, counseling, dietetics, herbalism, midwifery, chiropractic, naturopathy, acupuncture, social work, therapy, or any other state-regulated healthcare profession. She is not a licensed medical doctor (MD or DO), nurse practitioner, physician assistant, registered nurse, naturopath, chiropractor, licensed dietitian, pharmacist, psychologist, or psychiatrist. The AI responses generated by this app are produced by a large language model (Claude, by Anthropic) following system prompts written by the Barefoot Health team; they are not a substitute for the clinical judgment of a licensed healthcare provider. Nothing Amanda or the App says should be treated as a clinical diagnosis, prescription, or treatment plan.
The App is built on the principle of informed consent. We believe you have the right to receive, research, and evaluate educational health information — including information outside of the conventional medical consensus — and the right to make your own decisions for yourself and your family. Education is not prescription. Providing information about what a researcher, practitioner, or tradition has said about a topic is not the same as telling you what to do.
The right to receive and share truthful, non-misleading information on health topics has been recognized by the U.S. Supreme Court in, e.g., Sorrell v. IMS Health Inc., 564 U.S. 552 (2011), and Thompson v. Western States Medical Center, 535 U.S. 357 (2002). Separately, the right of parents to direct the care, upbringing, and education of their children is long recognized by the Court in, e.g., Meyer v. Nebraska, 262 U.S. 390 (1923); Parham v. J.R., 442 U.S. 584 (1979); and Troxel v. Granville, 530 U.S. 57 (2000). Decisions about your and your family's health are yours to make, in consultation with the licensed professionals you trust.
Amanda is an affiliate for Dr. Stephen Cabral's Integrative Health Practitioner certification program and for Equilife Supplements. When Amanda or the App references these programs or products — including in text, links, recommendations, or the App's supplement content — she has a material commercial relationship with the provider and may earn a commission on qualifying purchases made through her referral links. Amanda recommends only programs and products she personally uses and believes in. The existence of this relationship does not change your cost; it supports the App.
Inline disclosure. When the App references a Cabral product, an Equilife supplement, or Dr. Cabral's IHP program in a chat response, a short disclosure line appears inline with that reference: "Note: Amanda is an affiliate for Dr. Cabral's IHP program and Equilife. She may earn a commission if you use her referral link. She recommends only what she personally uses." Other affiliate relationships will be disclosed inline where they apply. Visible "Affiliate link — commission earned" markers appear within one line of any Equilife or IHP referral link on our sales pages. We comply with the Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255) requiring clear and conspicuous disclosure of material connections.
Statements about dietary supplements, herbs, minerals, botanicals, and nutritional products shared in this app have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Individual results vary. Interactions with medications are possible. Any dosages referenced (for example, "Vitamin D3 2000 IU daily") are educational examples drawn from integrative-health literature and are not personalized dosage recommendations. Always consult a qualified, licensed healthcare provider — including a pharmacist — before starting, stopping, or changing any supplement, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or managing a chronic condition.
The Vaccine Pocket Guide mode is provided for education and independent research only. It is not medical advice, a recommendation for or against any vaccine, or a prescription. We recognize the conventional position held by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), and the World Health Organization (WHO). We also recognize that many families want to research the published science, review package inserts, understand ingredients and adjuvants, consider medical and religious exemptions where they are available under state law, and make informed decisions with the licensed practitioners they trust. This App supports your right to that research. It does not replace a conversation with a qualified healthcare provider who knows your child's medical history. For exemption laws and parental-rights questions, consult a licensed attorney in your state.
Educational sources we may point to include a range of mainstream, government, academic, and advocacy resources. Mainstream and government sources include the CDC Vaccine Information Statements, the FDA's published package inserts, the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) at vaers.hhs.gov, and pubmed.gov. Academic sources include peer-reviewed journal articles cited in specific responses. Advocacy organizations that publish state-specific educational resources include the Informed Consent Action Network (ICAN), Children's Health Defense (CHD), and the National Vaccine Information Center (NVIC). We encourage you to consult more than one kind of source.
State law variability. Vaccine exemption laws vary by state and change over time. As of 2025, California, Connecticut, Maine, Mississippi, New York, and West Virginia have sharply restricted or eliminated non-medical exemptions. Several other states have modified their exemption rules since 2023. Always verify your state's current law with a licensed attorney or your state department of health before relying on any exemption pathway.
The Cancer & Integrative Care mode is provided for education and independent research only. It is not medical advice, oncological advice, a treatment recommendation, or a recommendation against conventional oncology care. If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with cancer, please remain in active care with a qualified oncology team. The App may reference published research, books, and the work of integrative practitioners (for example, Dr. Nasha Winters, Dr. Thomas Seyfried, Dr. Dominic D'Agostino, Dr. Kelly Turner, Dr. Stephen Cabral). Referencing a researcher or book is educational; it is not a prescription, endorsement of any specific therapy for your case, or a claim that any approach will cure, treat, or prevent cancer. For integrative oncology care, work with a board-certified oncologist and a licensed integrative-oncology professional.
Kids' Wellness content is educational material for parents and caregivers. We do not knowingly collect data directly from children. Family profiles you create for your children are stored on your device, and we do not keep them on our servers. Please understand: when you ask Amanda about a child whose profile is active, that profile's details are included in the message sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate the answer, the same way the rest of your message is. You decide what goes in a child's profile, and you can leave out names or other identifying details. Never change your child's healthcare, medications, supplements, or diet without guidance from their pediatrician or a licensed healthcare provider who knows your child.
Label Lens analyzes a product label or ingredient list that you photograph and provides educational commentary on ingredients, additives, and formulation choices. Functional Lens provides educational observations based on a photograph you share. Lab-related content discusses conventional reference ranges and functional/optimal ranges reported in integrative-health literature; those ranges may differ from your lab's printed ranges. None of these tools is a diagnostic device, medical examination, or substitute for in-person evaluation by a qualified professional. Always review lab results with the provider who ordered them.
The App supports the constitutional right of parents to direct the upbringing, education, and healthcare of their children, within applicable law. For state-specific exemption questions, custody matters, school-entry disputes, or any legal question involving a minor's medical record, consult a licensed attorney in your state.
The App is not for emergencies. If you or someone you know is experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency services immediately. If you are in crisis in the United States, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).
By using the App, you acknowledge that (a) the App is educational, (b) you are responsible for your own health decisions, (c) you will consult a qualified, licensed healthcare provider before acting on any information from the App, and (d) you accept the full risk of your health decisions. This disclaimer is incorporated into, and governed by, our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
